ABOUT
Hi! I'm Sara.
I'm a dedicated Estate Planning Attorney who's absolutely passionate about helping families secure their legacies and protect what matters most. With a strong belief in the importance of preparation and foresight, I have spent close to a decade personally guiding my clients through the complexities of estate planning.
When I’m not in the office crafting personalized estate plans, you can find me embracing the great outdoors with my two energetic little boys, Mason (9) and Rocky (5), and our lunatic rescued pit bull puppy, Allie. We love to camp, snowboard, and spend time on or in any and all bodies of water. Becoming a mom overwhelmingly deepened my dedication to the area of the law, and my family fuels my drive to ensure that every family can create a future they envision.
In addition to my legal practice, I’m also a certified Lagree Fitness Trainer, and can usually be found at least once a day de-stressing on a Megaformer. Fitness was my first love and luckily it translated very well into my professional life, where I emphasize the importance of balance—both in life and in planning for the future.
I am compassionate and experienced, and I am committed to empowering my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions. Let’s work together to create an estate plan that reflects your values and protects your loved ones for generations to come.

SERVICES
HELPING YOU MAKE A PLAN
When it comes to designing the perfect Estate Plan for you and your family, getting started really is the hardest part. And I get it- it's overwhelming, it's expensive, it's daunting, and frankly it's a little depressing!
As your attorney, of course I am focussed on the legalities, but I am also there to gently guide you--- to talk you through and to walk you through--- a number of decisions you will have to make with respect to your ideal Estate Plan.
Among other things, we will discuss the best ways to preserve your estate, how you can protect your beneficiaries, the legacy you want to leave behind, and the person or people you want to manage your affairs once you're gone.
We talk about some hard things, yes. But my hope is when you walk out my office doors, you feel seen and understood, comfortable with your choices, confident in your Estate Plan, and that you experience an overall feeling of ease.
STRATEGY AND OPERATION
Our planning is strategic and highly personalized. Our operations are efficient and precise.
The Estate Planning process will look like this:
Step 1 - Designing Your Trust
Prior to our first meeting, you will complete a New Client Questionnaire which gives me an overview of who you are, what your financial assets look like, and the people involved in your life. At your Design Meeting, the completed New Client Questionnaire provides a great road map for us to follow as we begin to delve into the Design process... but it rarely tells the whole story.
As such, during our first meeting, yes, we will have a chance to discuss your assets and familial relationships, but importantly, we will also talk through any worrisome family dynamics, potential complexities involving your beneficiaries, what your assets might look like in the future, your aspirations, your thoughts, your concerns, and how we can best draft an Estate Plan with all these considerations in mind.
At the Design Meeting, I will quite literally draw out your Estate Plan. I will then use my sketch to draft all the documents that make up your custom, personalized Estate Plan.

Step 2 - Signing the Documents

About two weeks after your Design Meeting, you will sign your estate planning documents. At your Signing Appointment, I will go over every document in your Estate Plan with you- one by one- and, if all looks good, you will sign each document before the Notary Public. Congratulations- you now have a valid Estate Plan!

Step 3 - The Funding Process
Your Estate Plan is technically complete after Step 2, but I still want to see you one last time before sending you on your way. The Funding Meeting is short and sweet- I will give you instructions on how to "fund" your Trust (transfer ownership of assets, change beneficiary forms, ect.) to ensure that the estate planning documents that make up your Estate Plan work how they're supposed to. The Funding Appointment is also a good opportunity for us to tie up any loose ends and for me to answer any final questions you might have.

To ensure seamless execution of your Estate Plan, our operations focus on efficiency and precision. We leverage cutting-edge technology and tried-and-true practices to manage documents and timelines, and we prioritize communication and transparency above all else- keeping you informed every step of the way.
IMPROVING PROCESSES
Estate Planning doesn't have to be difficult, and I very much pride myself on my ability to really simplify the concepts and process for my clients. (I loooove when a client happily and surprisingly exclaims, "Wow- that was easy." when we are all finished!)
It also doesn't have to come with a little (or sometimes a whole lot) of sticker shock. Not only are our prices competitive, we are transparent about them. In fact, before you even walk through our front doors for your initial consultation, you will know what you can expect to pay for your Estate Plan, and since we only work on a flat-rate fee structure, that also means there are no billing-surprises for you down the road either.
